ROCCO SURACE, CPA,
ABV, CVA, JONAH is the Managing Partner of Gaines Kriner Elliott
LLP. He works with many client companies, in various industries,
directing their current accounting and tax needs.
Rocco is significantly involved in education and organizations
to advance the CPA profession, as well as to continually upgrade
his knowledge on advanced CPA accounting and tax skills.
Rocco’s consultative skills have been developed as a
result of hands on training and leading projects with and
for some of the world leaders in these skills:
• Process based cost management
(with the concept developers of Activity Based Cost Management),
• Certificate of Mastery in Re-Engineering through
training with Dr. Michael Hammer,
• Jonah designation from the Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute,
TOC Disciplines Certifications from the TOC International
Certification Organization, and
• Goldratt Consulting member, working nationally in
the process of offering and implementing integrated operational
and market improvement services within the concept of Viable
Vision.
• Accredited Business Valuation Specialist (ABV) and
Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)
Rocco’s consultative focus
areas are in the disciplines of strategically driven improvement
services and succession planning.
• Holistic-based strategic
planning, operationally driven in achieving best-in-class
performance and market driven to the most profitable segments
for a company’s service levels
• Succession planning for both company ownership and
management in order to transition each successfully, including
family succession and the sale and acquisition of companies
Rocco is a frequent speaker for
industry association groups and professional organizations
on these topics as well as CPA Firm Practice Development.
Under his leadership and direction, the firm has received
two national awards for its Professional Services program
and services involving Business Process Improvement. These
awards recognized the firm’s commitment to quality service,
its people, and client satisfaction.
